Swift Electrical Supply Co, An affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This position will be located in our Teterboro, NJ location.
Job Type: Full Time
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and process orders via phone and email with accuracy and urgency.
- Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms; suggest alternative products when needed.
- Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
- Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
- Build strong customer relationships by offering knowledgeable and solution-oriented service.
- Coordinate with internal teams including credit, warehouse, and counter sales as needed.
- Recommend and help implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable with basic math and product comparisons; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Onsite work required
