What you can expect
As a technical leader, you bring both a technical and operational engineering mindset to lead and transform the team. You will drive a programmatic approach while maintaining a solutions-based focus to address evolving business needs. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure & Client Experience, you will manage a team of Infrastructure Engineers across four key functions in this role. You will partner closely with product teams to support the future of AI.
About the Team
We are Zoom's "customer zero" for internal cloud, platform, and IAM infrastructure. We use an SRE mindset, automation, and self-service tooling to optimize performance and security. We do this so every Zoomie can do their best work.
Responsibilities
Managing the strategic design, engineering, and operations of enterprise-wide IAM infrastructure. Serve as the primary technical authority for all IAM initiatives across the organization. Cover identity lifecycle management, RBAC, ABAC, PAM, and zero-trust frameworks. Manage IDP solutions (Okta, Cloudflare, Entra ID, Google Cloud Identity) with SSO. Maintain directory services and authentication (LDAP, Active Directory, Radius, MFA, certificate management, federation). Lead enterprise application integration across Zoom, Sales, HRMS, and SaaS platforms, with automated provisioning, de-provisioning, and access governance. Operate IGA platforms driving access certifications, segregation of duties (SoD), role mining, and User Access Reviews (UAR). Remediate IAM technical debt and consolidate legacy systems. Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR through continuous monitoring, access reviews, and audit trails, in partnership with Security, Compliance, and Audit teams.
Managing a team which manages EKS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms, leveraging ArgoCD for GitOps deployments, Atlantis for Terraform automation, Nginx for ingress control, certificate management, and AWS/Proxmox infrastructure.
Driving AI and automation initiatives using scripting languages and APIs — including PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Golang — for data transformation and workflow automation.
Implementing and managing configuration management tools including Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and SALT Stack to maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure.
Managing platform services including Observability tooling, NetBox IPAM/DCIM, and other core infrastructure applications.
Leading the transformation from monitoring to observability by partnering with infrastructure service owners on a Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki observability stack.
Maintaining expertise across cloud IaaS environments including GCP, AWS, Azure, Hyperconverged Hardware, and VMware/Proxmox, following CI/CD best practices with Jira and GitLab.
What we’re looking for
Bring 10 to 15 years in IT or similar technology fields
5 years managing infrastructure teams.
Show a proven track record managing, building, scaling, and improving services.
Apply an understanding of Enterprise Architecture and governance best practices.
Drive continuous improvement and deliver results against clear timelines with a service-oriented, proactive approach.
Operate with a results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset; a degree in CS, Engineering, or MIS, or equivalent practical experience.

Skills Required
- Hands-on experience leading SRE or DevOps infrastructure teams in a large-scale environment
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and configuration management like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitLab and Jira
- Operate identity and access management platforms (Okta, Entra ID, RADIUS, MFA, certificate-based authentication) and IGA/IAM principles
- Administer multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, VMware) with IaaS expertise
- Modern scripting/programming skills in Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across global time zones, particularly with teams in India, the Philippines, and China
