Competitive RN PayStarting at $39.00/hour

As our Infection Preventionist / Wound Care Nurse, you'll play a key role in two important areas of resident care.
Infection Prevention
-
Support and oversee the facility's infection prevention and control program
-
Monitor and track infections, symptoms, and trends
-
Educate staff on infection prevention practices, PPE, hand hygiene, and isolation precautions

Maintain infection surveillance and required documentation
-
Support regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives
Wound Care
-
Complete wound assessments and provide appropriate treatments
-
Monitor wound healing and resident progress
-
Maintain accurate wound measurements and documentation
-
Update care plans as needed
-
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, and other members of the care team
-
Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
Infection prevention, wound care, long-term care, or skilled nursing experience preferred

Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

Knowledge of infection prevention and wound care practices

Strong communication and organizational abilities

Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary team
