Du Quoin Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Preventionist to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys problem-solving, educating others, identifying trends, and making an impact throughout the entire facility.

Registered Nurse (RN): $33.00–$35.00/hour

Plus:

• $0.10/hour for each year of verified experience, up to 20 years

• +$0.75/hour for on-call responsibilities

As our Infection Preventionist, you'll lead and support infection prevention efforts throughout the facility while working closely with nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program

• Conduct infection surveillance, tracking, reporting, and trend analysis

• Educate and support staff on infection prevention practices

• Monitor infection control practices throughout the facility

• Support compliance with applicable infection prevention requirements

• Participate in quality improvement and survey readiness initiatives

• Collaborate with clinical leadership to promote positive resident outcomes

• Provide on-call support as assigned

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required

• Long-term care experience preferred

• Infection Prevention experience is a plus

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to educate and support staff

• Commitment to resident safety and quality care
