Job Summary:
Brenntag is looking for a Sales Leader to drive EUR 2 million in annual revenue while leading a team of 2–3 sales professionals.
The role will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Specialty Chemicals (Additives, Defoamers, Feed Ingredients) and Solvents (Toluene, Cyclo, Mixed Xylene, Glycols, and related products) serving customers within the Agrochemical industry.
Job Requirements/Specification: -
Education: Bachelors in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering, preferably MBA
Experience: Minimum 13 years of overall work sales experience, including a minimum of 3-year experience of team management and 8 years managing Agrochemical industry
Duties and Responsibilities:
Group P&L Target: Deliver on budget P&L numbers by ensuring business execution of specific product & services sales, including developing new business and maintaining a healthy business pipeline.
Lead a team of Account Managers to deliver on budget P&L (Volume & GP), by effective team management, market development and new business acquisition
Build a 3 ~ 5 years strategy for Agro and include participation in various segments of Agro. Managing current suppliers and ensuring to get more suppliers complementing current offerings
Stakeholder Management: Maintain working & efficient relationship with functional stakeholders within India such as Product Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain etc. This includes driving clarity on tasks scope and joint delivery of business.
Customer outreach: Maintain adequate customer intimacy with regular visits, market feedback collection and analysis of information.
Ensure safety and compliance, in line with all application Brenntag Policies, in daily working of business
Participation in various exhibitions (ACREX, PMFAI), and conducting road shows across multiple cities
Other Capabilities, Skills and Experience:
Complete awareness of sales cycle (including processes, documentations etc.) for distribution business in India.
Good knowledge of Chemicals Industry and key Raw materials, suppliers and customers for Agro
Ability of manage Business development cycle (lead generation to commercialization)
Working knowledge of systems used commonly in the industry (for e.g. CRM etc.)

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- MBA
- Minimum 13 years overall sales experience

- Experience managing portfolios of specialty chemicals and solvents
- Proven P&L management and ability to deliver revenue targets (EUR 2M)

- Customer outreach and market feedback collection and analysis experience
- Complete awareness of sales cycle and distribution business processes in India
- Good knowledge of chemicals industry, raw materials, suppliers and customers for Agro
- Ability to manage business development cycle from lead generation to commercialization
- Working knowledge of industry systems (e.g., CRM)
- Willingness to travel for exhibitions and road shows across multiple cities
