Husqvarna AB is looking for an Analyst to join our Swedish indirect tax team and support our ongoing transformation. We’re expanding our compliance responsibilities to cover VAT and Excise Tax across the Nordic region — including Norway, Denmark, and Finland. As part of this journey, we’re working to harmonize processes across entities and improve the accuracy and consistency of our VAT reporting.

About the RoleAs an Indirect Tax Analyst, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our VAT and Excise Tax compliance across Sweden and the Nordic region. You’ll report to the Indirect Tax Manager for Sweden and collaborate with Group Tax and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, drive harmonization efforts, and support ongoing transformation initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Swedish indirect tax team, contributing to both daily operations and long-term development.
You’re expected to work independently, take ownership of your daily responsibilities and deadlines, and actively drive change in ongoing projects. Providing guidance to the organization on indirect tax-related questions is also part of the role.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and report accurate and timely VAT and excise tax returns for multiple Nordic entities.
Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving indirect tax processes and compliance.
Strengthen and harmonize internal controls across entities.
Stay up to date on new indirect tax legislation affecting Husqvarna Nordic legal entities
Provide guidance and support to internal teams by responding to indirect tax-related questions.
Analyze transaction data to ensure correct reporting and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with Group Tax, external auditors, and tax authorities by gathering and analyzing relevant data.
This role is based in Huskvarna, Sweden, but it is also possible to work from other Husqvarna sites such as Gothenburg or Stockholm. We offer a flexible hybrid work setup, with an expected on-site presence of 2 to 3 days per week.

In addition, you have:
A university degree in Tax, Finance, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in indirect tax
Accounting experience is a plus, especially in roles that intersect with indirect tax.
Familiarity with systems like SAP and Coupa is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
