A Day in the LifeRole Purpose:
Levant, Central Asia, Cyprus, Iran Indirect Business Leader is accountable for driving sustainable, double‑digit growth across a complex, high‑potential indirect portfolio by translating regional strategy into focused market execution, disciplined distributor management, and strong therapy‑led coverage.
This role leads the end‑to‑end commercial performance of the indirect business, ensuring resources, capabilities, and operating mechanisms are aligned to revenue size, growth potential, and portfolio priorities, while reducing risk and dependency on fragmented or non‑scalable models.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
1. Commercial Strategy & Growth Delivery
- Own and deliver revenue, growth, and margin objectives across the region.
- Anchor headcount and investment decisions to revenue pools, growth signals, and therapy priorities.
- Translate regional strategy into clear country‑ and distributor‑level plans with measurable outcomes.
- Proactively manage risk exposure in volatile or complex markets (e.g., Iran, selected CA markets).
2. Indirect Channel & Distributor Excellence
- Build a disciplined, consistent distributor operating model across all markets.
- Lead distributor selection, performance management, governance, and remediation.
- Ensure strong KOL engagement, tender execution, pricing discipline, and portfolio mix management.
- Drive quarterly business reviews and structured joint business planning with distributors.
3. Organization & Capability Leadership
- Lead a therapy‑focused, fit‑for‑purpose organization
- Ensure in‑market ownership and accountability, minimizing reliance on remote or contingent resources.
- Own talent deployment, succession planning, and performance management for the region.
- Champion OU capability build, training compliance, and readiness tracking via Enact.
4. Execution Excellence & Governance
- Implement and sustain the target operating model, including:
- Clear decision rights
- Consistent governance
- Standardized tools and ways of working
- Ensure alignment between commercial, marketing, finance, and functional partners.
- Drive operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline management, and execution cadence.
5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a senior regional leader and role model, setting direction, pace, and standards.
- Partner closely with Regional LT, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Functional leaders.
- Represent the region in strategic forums, investment discussions, and governance reviews.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 12+ years of commercial leadership experience in complex, multi‑country environments.
- Proven success leading indirect / distributor‑based business models.
- Experience operating in emerging, volatile, or high‑complexity markets.
- Strong strategy‑to‑execution translator; able to simplify complexity.
- Data‑driven, with the ability to anchor decisions in revenue, growth, and ROI logic.
- Deep understanding of therapy‑led selling, KOL management, and tender environments.
- Credible people leader with the ability to lead through change and ambiguity.
