About this opportunity
We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager to lead enterprise infrastructure operations across compute, operating systems, storage, databases, cloud platforms, enterprise systems, identity and access management, and security technologies. You will be responsible for service delivery, operational stability, infrastructure governance, risk management, major incident management, and continuous service improvement across a complex enterprise environment.
What you will do
- Lead infrastructure service delivery across multiple technology domains, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Manage compute, virtualization, and cloud platforms, including VMware, Nutanix, and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Oversee Windows and UNIX/Linux infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, compliance, and lifecycle management.
- Lead storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity operations.
- Provide operational governance for enterprise database platforms, including Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
- Manage enterprise systems and collaboration services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Citrix VDI.
- Drive Identity and Access Management (IAM) and infrastructure security operations in partnership with cybersecurity teams.
- Lead major incident, problem, and change management activities, ensuring timely service restoration and sustainable solutions.
- Ensure effective vulnerability management, patch compliance, and mitigation of end-of-life technology risks.
- Lead capacity planning, infrastructure resilience, and operational risk management.
- Manage technology vendors and service providers, including service performance, governance, and escalations.
- Drive automation, standardization, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure teams while fostering accountability and technical excellence.
What you will bring
- 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Technology Operations, or Service Delivery environments.
- Proven experience managing multiple infrastructure technology domains and operational teams.
- Strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure operations and ITIL/ITSM practices.
- Experience managing major incidents, service delivery, infrastructure risks, vendor relationships, and operational governance.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise or hybrid IT environments.
- Technical expertise across VMware, Nutanix, Windows, UNIX/Linux, Storage, Backup, Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Citrix VDI, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, IAM, NAC, Symantec, and Microsoft Defender.
- Preferred certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Azure, VMware, Nutanix, Citrix, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or PRINCE2.
- Strong leadership, people management, vendor management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Knowledge of risk management, capacity planning, infrastructure resilience, and service delivery best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, automation, and continuous improvement skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive operational excellence and technology transformation.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
