Bring your Import-Export expertise to LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam (LMV) and proactively support the Import/Export Manager in building robust Import-Export activities under the EPE business model. Act as a trusted business partner across all stages of shipping and customs matters. Please note: This position does not support relocation assistance or sponsorship.

Core Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high standard of shipping and customs processes to meet and exceed the company objectives.

  • Ensure smooth cooperation with all shipping stakeholders (internal customers, forwarders, and carriers) to meet their needs, deliver expected service levels, and proactively propose and implement process improvements.

  • Adhere to global shipping policies while maintaining close communication and daily coordination on inbound and outbound shipments with the LMV factory, overseas LEGO factories, and selected suppliers.

  • Execute import/export shipping processes, including preparation and completion of all required shipping and customs documents with high accuracy and quality to ensure full compliance.

  • Maintain close communication and daily coordination with local authorities (Customs, Import-Export Management Department, VCCI, etc.) and external agents (clearance brokers, etc.) to ensure full compliance with Vietnamese legislation.

  • Stay updated on government circulars, decrees, and regulations related to import/export procedures, post-clearance audits, and other relevant requirements.

  • Manage and maintain shipping-related systems, including SAP and Electronic Customs Declaration software (ECUS/VNACCS).

  • Plan inbound and outbound shipments, selecting optimal transportation modes and maximising pallet utilisation for efficient shipment flow.

  • Promptly implement corrective actions in case of delays, obstacles, or near-misses, and escalate to relevant stakeholders when necessary.

  • Analyse logistics and customs data (shipment lead times, clearance performance, transportation costs, carrier performance, etc.) to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain regular Power BI dashboards and automation tools (using VBA, Power Apps, etc.) to monitor operations, track performance, and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Act as a key enabler and knowledge ambassador by promoting new tools, training team members, and sharing best practices.

  • Support and substitute for other local shipping team members when required.

  • Perform all tasks in the job description and any additional tasks assigned by the manager to the highest standard.

Play Your Part in Our Team Succeeding.

The mission of the Import/Export department is to ensure every shipment reaches the right customer on time, using the most suitable transportation modes while optimising cost, quality, and efficiency — all in full compliance with current legislation and the Export Processing Enterprises (EPE) business model.
