The Opportunity
Advance your career in enterprise integration by taking ownership of increasingly complex EDI and B2B implementations. As an Implementation Engineer II, you'll independently deliver integration solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, contribute to ERP and API integrations, and build the expertise needed for a Senior Implementation Engineer role.
What You'll Do
▸ EDI & Integration
▸ Implement EDI solutions using ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
▸ Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VAN, APIs).
▸ Develop and maintain ERP integrations and business process workflows.
▸ Data Mapping & APIs
▸ Build medium-complexity data mappings, Business Process Sequences (BPS), and integration flows.
▸ Implement REST/SOAP APIs with OAuth, authentication, encryption, and API security.
▸ Support UAT, resolve mapping issues, and optimize integration performance.
▸ Delivery & Documentation
▸ Troubleshoot integration issues independently and escalate complex problems when required.
▸ Document integration designs, configurations, and implementation processes.
▸ Follow implementation, quality, and security best practices.
What You Bring Required
▸ Technical Skills
▸ Strong understanding of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and B2B integration concepts.
▸ Experience configuring AS2, SFTP, VAN, REST/SOAP APIs, and authentication methods.
▸ Hands-on experience with Business Process Sequences (BPS), data mapping, and ERP integrations (SAP preferred).
▸ Working knowledge of API security, OAuth, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
▸ Education & Experience
▸ B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
▸ 2-4 years of experience in EDI, B2B integration, or middleware implementation.
▸ Proven ability to deliver integration projects independently.
Preferred
▸ Experience with multiple ERP platforms (SAP, NetSuite, D365, Acumatica).
▸ Familiarity with Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) or B2B platforms such as Sterling, Gentran, OpenText, or Axway.
▸ Exposure to retail, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain domains.
▸ Experience using AI tools to improve documentation or delivery efficiency
Skills Required
- B.E. or B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in EDI, B2B integration, or middleware implementation
