About this opportunity
BNEW RCE Lab Operations provides best-in-class lab infrastructure, networks and hardware (HW) services to the R&D organizations within Ericsson. Our standardized solutions and services enable our stakeholders to configure and deploy design and test environments. In our labs globally, we operate ~50,000 square meters of labs and track 400,000 hardware assets.
We are now recruiting an ICT Asset Manager for our global HW Management (HWM) team. The main tasks are:
Handle HW Transfer outside a legal entity for all asset and consumable transfers efficiently and effectively by following compliance, legal, and financial rules, as well as our own way of working.

What you will do
Handle HW transfer requests across the globe from the users of the assets.
Act as a gatekeeper for Ericsson Assets.
Understand the business need behind each request and decide how to handle every transfer case in the best way possible.
Adhere to the existing transfer process, execute every transfer request with care, urgency and compliance.
Has the ability to understand customs and taxation instructions.
Communicate and coordinate with people outside of one's own organization, such as Customs, legal, finance, Logistics partner, tax and sourcing e.t.c when necessary.
Update the asset information accurately in our inventory tools such as HW database tool EquipMan and SAP after every relevant transfer.
Report to Service owners for improvements/impediments, continuously drive for process and way of working improvement.
Help, support and guide team members when necessary.
Take ownership of different processes and instruction documents.
Handle local LCM/Asset management operations and activities.
Have a strong relationship with HWM colleagues globally and other colleagues locally.
Contribute to change, including the evolution of Lab Operations services globally.
You will bring
- A University degree and past experience working within a service organization
- Excellent communication and English language skills in interacting with stakeholders in an international environment
- Knowledge of inventory management systems & tools and Microsoft Excel
- Consistent record of achieving results
- Service mindset, transformation drive, self-driven, thrive on accountability, overcoming challenges with a collaborative can-do attitude, motivated to fulfill the expectations of customers/stakeholders
- Curiosity, willingness to continuously learn and passion for improvement.
- Natural leadership to drive a global team if necessary
- Good understanding of financial flows, especially for HW procurement and life cycle management
- Good to have trade and logistics knowledge, product knowledge
