The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for coordinating engineering projects, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely completion. This role tracks project progress and provides updates to management and stakeholders, while preparing, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation, drawings, quotations, and reports. The Engineering Coordinator monitors and coordinates the procurement of materials, equipment, and tools, maintains inventory records, and tracks usage of engineering resources.

Additional responsibilities include supporting adherence to engineering standards, codes, and company policies, assisting with the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols, and coordinating safety inspections, audits, and compliance documentation. The role provides administrative and operational support to engineering teams, facilitates problem-solving and technical communications, and serves as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors. The Engineering Coordinator also supports contract and purchase order administration as needed, identifies process improvement opportunities to enhance workflows, and assists in implementing best practices, tools, and systems for team efficiency.



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Marine, or a related field).

  • 1–3 years of experience in engineering projects, coordination, or project management preferred.

  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and handling technical documentation.

  • Project management or coordination training (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is preferred.

  • Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) training or certification.
