Job Description:
This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN.
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for execution of the new hire onboarding process to promote a positive employee experience consistent with Baptist Health’s mission, vision, and values. Serves as an ambassador of hospital recognition programs and events. Additionally, the HR Specialist assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources’ functions and duties.
Requirements
Associate Degree preferred
Previous experience in HR or department administrative support role preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Sharepoint
Previous experience with HRIS system(s), specifically, Workday, preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in database management and record keeping
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to multi-task
Ability to protect confidential nature of information within HR department
Strong interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic and team oriented with a service oriented and mission driven attitude to work with various audiences
Fast-paced and results oriented with the ability to work in a timely manner with multiple deadlines and competing requirements
Ability to travel, occasional evening and weekend work, and to adjust to other needs of the department
Ability to work well independently or within team setting
