Harbor is seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Human Resources (Talent) Operations Coordinator (International) to join our team on a fixed term basis to provide maternity cover.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoys supporting Talent Operations across multiple regions. You will play a key role in ensuring Talent processes run smoothly, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and a consistent employee experience.
You will work closely with Talent, IT and Finance teams globally, gaining exposure to international processes and supporting the delivery of Talent services across the UK, Philippines, North America and other international regions.
This is a hands-on operational role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
This role is offered on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover for a defined period. The contract will commence and conclude on agreed dates, in line with business requirements and applicable Philippine employment legislation. Should the period of maternity leave be extended, there may be the opportunity to the extend the contract subject to business needs and mutual agreement between both parties. The successful candidate will receive all statutory benefits and protections applicable under local labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:Employee Lifecycle (Onboarding, Offboarding & Moves)
- Support end-to-end onboarding, offboarding and employee changes across multiple regions
- Coordinate onboarding activities including contracts, documentation, system setup, orientation sessions and survey feedback
- Ensure all employee data is accurately recorded and maintained in HR systems
- Manage background checks and pre-employment screening processes
- Coordinate offboarding activities including documentation and system access removal
- Deliver a positive and consistent onboarding experience for new hires
- Coordinate the assignment of buddies to all new hires as part of the new hire buddy programme
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Support the administration of employee benefits, including enrolments, renewals, changes and leavers
- Manage employee benefits queries, escalate complex cases where required
- Coordinate leave administration, including tracking, reporting, employee communication and return-to-work processes
- Maintain accurate leave records and ensure compliance with company policy and local requirements
- Support escalated or sensitive leave scenarios as needed
System & Data Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across all Talent systems
- Support data audits and reporting requirements
- Monitor data quality and ensure consistency across systems
- Produce basic reports and support data analysis as required
Employee Support & Operations
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries across the international population
- Monitor and manage shared Talent inboxes, responding to queries in a timely manner
- Prepare standard employee documentation (e.g. letters related to leave or employment changes)
- Support monthly payroll inputs (e.g. sickness reconciliation and data validation)
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Follow established processes and operational checklists to ensure consistency and compliance
- Support the review and update of policies, handbooks and process documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to ongoing enhancements
- Provide cross-regional operational support as required to ensure global team coverage

- 1-3 years’ experience in an HR/Talent coordination or administrative role
- Experience in a professional services, corporate, or fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive and reliable, with a strong sense of ownership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Desirable:
- Experience supporting international or multi-region teams
- Knowledge of UK employment practices, benefits or payroll processes
- Experience using HR systems (e.g. Workday or similar)
- Experience working in a scaling or PE-backed organisation
- Proactive self-starter who anticipates needs rather than reacts to them
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism with stakeholders across multiple regions
- Knowledge and understanding of the wider external Talent environment and how best practice can be adapted /developed to support division strategies
Working Pattern:
- Full time role (5 days per week)
- Preferred working hours are 2:00pm – 10:00pm to support global collaboration
