We are Converge HR Solutions, a Human Resources consulting and outsourcing firm. We seek a Human Resources Generalist or Consultant in Earth City (St. Louis), MO, to join our team. In partnership with our other HR Consultants and Converge as a company, this person will serve as our client's trusted partner and on-site Human Resources point-of-contact (POC). They will provide guidance and tactical support to the client leadership team regarding employee relations, hiring and onboarding, HRIS administration, and benefits questions.
This position will be located in Earth City, MO, and will need to be in the office 5 days a week initially. There is an opportunity for 1 remote day after an introductory period. The target salary for this position is $80,000 to $90,000.
About the role
Critical parts of the job

  • Be the “go-to” for all HR issues for the leadership team and the employee community.
  • Assist managers with navigating employee performance and behavioral issues.
  • Conduct any necessary investigations.
  • Draft candidates’ offer letters, manage the background check process, collect documentation, and add new employees to the HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).
  • Manage the HR onboarding for new employees and conduct new hire orientation meetings.
  • Maintain employee files in compliance with SOC2 audit requirements
  • Provide information about teams and positions, upcoming hires, upcoming openings, etc., to assist with tracking headcount, open positions, and new hires.

You will oversee the daily HR processes for the client company, becoming a trusted partner to the leadership team as they manage their most valuable asset: their people.

You will play a key role in the organization's growth, assisting in managing the people operations to help achieve their objectives.
Being an information conduit
You will act as an extension of Converge and the parent company, ensuring that information is effectively communicated to support informed business decisions.

Key Qualifications

  • A high school degree, or equivalent, is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related business field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional-level HR experience in a corporate environment is necessary, with previous experience in employee relations and working with leadership preferred.
  • Previous experience with HRIS platforms. Knowledge and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now are helpful.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.


The Nice to Haves

  • A high level of computer proficiency and a working knowledge of one or more Human Resources systems (HRIS/HRMS), as well as Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • A genuine desire to learn, grow, make mistakes, and challenge the status quo in managing a company's human resources.
