The Human Resources Generalist, GANNG leads and supports the company’s people function, including employee relations, recruiting support, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, HRIS management, performance management, compliance, and people-related policies. This role serves as a trusted resource for team members and leaders, providing practical guidance, sound judgment, and consistent support. The Human Resources Generalist, GANNG works closely with leadership, finance, benefit providers, payroll providers, and legal counsel to ensure the company’s people’s practices are organized, compliant, and aligned with business goals and company culture.
About the role
Advise and support all team members and leaders on team relations related issues by answering questions, giving directions, escalating issues, and offering solutions as appropriate on human resources (HR) issues
Serve as a generalist for all HR needs, including recruiting, leadership development and education, payroll, compensation, HRIS and benefits by answering questions and escalating issues as appropriate
Manage the employee lifecycle, including job postings, recruiting coordination, offer letters, onboarding, employment changes, personnel files, offboarding, and exit interviews
Manage team member benefits, perks, and people policies and ensure they provide the most value to team members
Collaborate and liaise with teams from our various benefit providers as subject matter experts on overall team member experience and brainstorm solutions
Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure compliance and mitigation of business risk by advising leaders and team members on applicable employment laws
Manage team member data to identify and summarize trends (e.g., exit interviews, turnover, overtime)
Collaborate with Senior Leadership to set team/people goals and objectives
Act as an objective, neutral advocate who seeks to understand, investigate and make unbiased recommendations for all sides: the company, team members and leaders
Assist all team members in finding solutions for individual team member challenges (e.g., personal challenges, conflict resolution, etc.)
Guide leaders through the effective management of team member performance
About you
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field
3 years of experience in human resources, team relations, or related field
Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance practices, and employee relations best practices
Experience handling confidential and sensitive employee matters
Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, or employee data systems
Strong communication, judgment, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a growing, creative, professional services, or project-based company environment
Experience implementing or administering HRIS, payroll, performance management, recruiting, onboarding, or benefits systems
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
