Job Summary:

Administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. Maintains local AAP program, and insures accuracy with app flow log.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, employee assistance, and wellness.
  • Plan and execute employee activities that foster meaningful connection to the Company and site (luncheons, celebrations, United Way campaigns, open enrollment & wellness activities).
  • Create and post communications (table talkers, birthday/anniversary announcements, etc.
  • Participate in quarterly communications meetings to provide updates and communications to employees.

Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree preferred, BA/BS a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent file management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Strong computer skills.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

The pay range for this position is
$65,800$74,400 USD
