Human Resources Business Partner
Position Summary:
Full time salaried position
Onsite based out of our St. Peterburg, FL location
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and administration of comprehensive HR programs and services for the St. Petersburg site. This role acts as a strategic partner to site leadership, aligning people strategies with business objectives while fostering a high-performance, compliant, and engaged workforce.
St. Petersburg in the primary softgel development and manufacturing facility in North America. The site has the capability to develop lipid formulations in a dedicated pilot plant which supports rapid transition from laboratory scale to clinical supply. Liquid in bottle, as well as Liquid fill Hard shell capabilities at the facility provide diversification and offerings that increase the speed to clinic.
The Role:
Partner with site leadership to align HR strategies, policies, and programs with business goals and Catalent standards
Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and labor laws
Manage complex cases related to leave of absence, accommodations, and return-to-work programs
Drive performance management processes to improve employee and organizational effectiveness
Develop and implement training and development plans aligned with regulatory requirements and business needs
Deliver high-quality HR services to managers and employees, responding to inquiries and resolving issues effectively
Serve as a subject matter expert in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and leverage data to drive insights and decisions

The Candidate:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline, required
Minimum five years of progressive HR experience
Strong knowledge of employment and labor law
Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment (pharmaceutical, healthcare, or similar), preferred
HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP), preferred
Experience supporting leadership teams in a complex, fast-paced environment, preferred
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
