Responsibilities of the HubSpot Account Manager:

  • Hubspot Implementation:
    • Configure/customize HubSpot, manage data mapping, define workflows, and provide training and support.
    • Optimize HubSpot for lead generation, ensure data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and utilize reporting tools creatively.
    • Develop strong client relationships and execute implementation plans.
    • Act as the primary client contact, providing proactive communication and support.
    • Understand client objectives, HubSpot capabilities, and provide tailored solutions.
    • Stay updated on HubSpot trends, and industry best practices, and collaborate internally for client growth opportunities.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve functionality on the Hubspot platform
    • Help build API connections/integrations across platforms and systems
    • Find creative ways to utilize HubSpot reporting tools to meet client needs
    • Bonus points for coding skills, email deliverability knowledge, and CMS experience (HubSpot, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress).
  • Project Management:
    • Manage HubSpot projects, including scheduling, goal alignment with clients, and progress tracking.
    • Conduct weekly live conversations and maintain regular communication via Slack and project management tools.
    • Map out customer journeys from intake to deal closure, asking questions to guide interactions.
    • Collaborate with internal team members and contractors to ensure excellent deliverability of products/offerings.
    • Work collaboratively with the team on quarterly goals and objectives to grow the company.
  • Client Management:
    • Build strong client relationships, advise on the buyer journey, and configure HubSpot to achieve their unique goals.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and proactive communication and support.
    • Collaborate with clients sharing advice on the customer journey from marketing to sales to service.

Qualifications: 

  • Professional experience working at a Platinum, Diamond, or Elite level Hubspot Agency
  • Experience working full time for U.S. Based companies on U.S. hours (7 am - 3 pm PST)
  • Experience with upselling clients
  • Experience with technical Hubspot integrations and Setups
  • Experience with client relationships, building and maintaining contract values
