About the Role
IANS is looking for an HTML/Content Editor to play a key role in converting content from Microsoft Word and PDF to HTML that will be published in our CMS. This role requires expertise in HTML, CSS, and TailwindCSS, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. This is a one-year, part-time consulting engagement with the possibility of extension.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Convert and format content from Microsoft Word, PDF, and other source formats into clean, accessible HTML for publication in Sitefinity.
- Apply Tailwind CSS classes and best practices to ensure consistency, responsiveness, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across devices.
- Optimize HTML and CSS for performance and maintainability.
- Manage assigned content conversion tasks through Trello, following the content pipeline process.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and content teams to ensure proper implementation of brand and design standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve formatting, layout, and rendering issues in content.
- Maintain quality control and perform thorough content reviews before publication.
- Meet deadlines and take ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
- English language proficiency of C1 or higher.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with a strong understanding of semantic markup.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS for styling and layout.
- Proven ability to convert content from Word, PDF, or similar formats into accurate and standards-compliant HTML.
- Experience using Trello or similar task/project management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining content quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivation and strong work ethic.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Sitefinity or similar CMS tools for content editing.
