Job Description:
As a member of the Human Resources team, the Sagility I-9 Specialist acts as an information and engagement source supporting the new hire process while promoting the Sagility vision, mission and values. Key areas of responsibility:
• I-9 Specialist engages with new hires or rehire employees by explaining the mandatory I-9 process and instructing them in how to properly complete the I-9 forms in accordance with USCIS regulations.
• Manages the I-9 process in the Onboarding Zoom Room.
• Meeting with new employees to complete section 2 of the I-9 Form.
• Serves as the point of contact to the employee to find and resolve any questions that may come up during the completion of the I-9 form.
• Maintains and audits I-9 forms and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy following federal requirements including maintaining historical I-9 forms in accordance with USCIS regulations.
• Logging I-9 audit and E-verification results into internal applications to track compliance and identify exceptions.
• Submitting I-9 form to E-Verify and following up with the employee on any issues.
• Use a wide range of communication channels such as Text recruit, emails and phone calls to resolve any I-9 verification issues.
• Performing E-verify process on new hires and rehires to ensure employment eligibility.
• Coordinate and effectively communicates with recruiting and the HR Ambassadors.
• Be knowledgeable on company policies and procedures.
• Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
