The HRIS Support Engineer will manage HR systems, provide application support, develop automations in databases, manage reports, and ensure data integrity while assisting users.

SERVICE CONTENTS/PROBLEM SOLVING (ACTIVITIES)
- Application Support
a) Support all existing HR applications. Fix bugs, provide enhancements and modifications when needed.
b) Provide support to other employees on all HR systems. Ensure effective use of HR Business Systems. - Application Development
a) Write codes to automate processes.
b) Develop database objects, including but not limited to tables, stored procedures, views, functions, queries.
c) Participate in testing of new and existing software modules. - Database Management
a) Develop queries, stored procedures and function for analyzing HR Databases.
b) Carry out database upgrades when necessary. - HR Reports
a) Manage the census process. Prepare initial data, liaise with HR Advisers and entity heads to provide updates. Upload final data to web census and provide census reports to HR Management.
b) Carry out organization chart updates and provide periodic org chart and manpower reports.
c) Provide standard and ad-hoc reports as may be required by management. - Campaigns
a) Quarterly Census campaigns
b) Managing employee data forecast and statistics
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- A university degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science or related disciplines.
- A good knowledge of HR Information Systems processes and procedures
- Background in Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL Server and PostgreSql.
- A background knowledge of reporting development and integration.
- Good knowledge of system testing and debugging.
- Exceptional MS Excel skill
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of some software development tools like C#.NET, CSS3 and Javascript frameworks.
- A minimum of 6 years experience working in a similar position and environment
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure clean and high quality data is maintained in the HR database.
- Follow up on implementation of personnel updates in the HR system and confirm data integrity.
- Ensure all request and updates forwarded to the HRIS team are implemented
- Ensure availability of the HR Systems and application at all times
- Advise Users on the Business processes for daily activities
