The Role

Position Summary: 

The HRIS Analyst will be part of the HR Shared Services team, reporting to the Manager of HR Information Systems (HRIS), working in partnership with the rest of the HR Shared Services team including HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation. The individual will support HR system management, HR projects, and the day to day operational tasks while providing quality service to our internal clients.

 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager of HRIS with system security and configuration updates, user access testing, and audits of HR portfolio of systems (Timekeeping, Time Off, Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Training, Professional Development, etc.)
  • Work closely with Manager of HRIS to support various HR related processes and projects throughout the year.
  • Develop or update reports to support business processes, recurring and ad-hoc reporting needs, and audits, working with other members of HRIS team as needed.
  • Support HRIS-led efforts and projects by coordinating meetings with relevant stakeholders, taking notes, assisting with monitoring progress, and other administrative duties as needed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of employee data sets, system workflows and interactivity.
  • Regularly pull and review data reports from various systems for audit, analysis, system maintenance and data reporting needs.
  • Maintain user access updates in systems for HRIS, Timekeeping, Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Training, Professional Development, etc. as needed, related to hires, terminations, and job changes.
  • Maintain the Time and Attendance module including permissions, user access, configurations, and reporting.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including auditing data entry and employee transactions such as hires, terminations, job changes, etc.; on and as needed basis, enter and process transactions timely and accurately.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in systems supported by HR Shared Services.
  • Support the data audit program by conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy of employee information. Follow up on any issues identified with relevant stakeholders, generate reports for audit, analysis, system maintenance and data reporting needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation, internal documents, job aids for employees.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all levels within the firm.
  • Perform general and administrative office duties on an as-needed basis.
  • Serve as a backup to the HRIS Specialist/Coordinator, monitoring HR Shared Services mailboxes and providing support to internal clients (provide assistance, troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed).

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:  3-5 years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations/Shared Services.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience and knowledge of HRIS and HR-related software and databases. (Experience in UKG Pro preferred, but not required.)
  • Strong analytical kills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and adapt to different audiences, client oriented.
  • Ability to act in a professional manner with a high degree of integrity and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience processing employee transactions: hires, promotions, data changes, terminations, etc. (preferred, but not required).

The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
