As our Head of People you will lead all areas related to our People across the organization related to talent acquisition, employee engagement, workforce planning, total rewards approach, employee onboarding and development, diversity, equity & inclusion, change management, people operations, analytics and compliance. Reporting to the CEO, you will serve as a collaborative, hands-on member of the Executive Team by designing and executing on strategic organizational roadmaps to ensure that Center meets its growth plans.
As our Head of People, you will have the opportunity to:
- Partner in creating a high-performing culture of success, accountability, transparency, respect and collaboration across multiple teams and locations
- Create and leverage workforce planning & talent acquisition strategies, enabling us to hire diverse, exceptional talent quickly for our fast growing organization
- Develop, launch and maintain a comprehensive approach to employee onboarding, development & retention including: competitive compensation, benefits & perks, career growth paths, and employee development & learning opportunities to support individual and company
- Create, model and evangelize Center’s values to support business objectives and people programs, including performance management practices, learning and development, and establishing individual and team OKRs
- Establish and implement People team efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision
- Act as a strategic partner and coach to the Executive Team, providing innovative thinking and problem solving on critical people issues
- Serve as a coach and mentor for the members of the People and broader management teams
- Overall responsibility for state and local employment compliance including the Employee Handbook, various reporting obligations, and required legal notifications and submissions
- Provide consulting for personnel matters as they arise and is adept at coaching and influencing all levels of the organization
- Provide direction and iterate upon current systems and tools related to People Operations, which may include evolving current systems in place or adding additional to support the scale and growth of the organization
- Develop and maintain reliable metrics and reporting to provide early insight into critical areas related to employee hiring, engagement, retention, and success of programs
- Contribute functional updates and plans to a variety of executive briefings and board meetings
What you bring to the role:
- 10+ years of HR, talent management, recruiting, organizational, or leadership development experience with a track record of rapidly scaling high-growth technology companies
- 3-5 years of senior leadership HR experience supporting Executive level roles within the Organization
- Prior high-tech, finance industry experience preferred
- Experience developing employee related plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives
- Have worked with the company's leadership team to establish a successful employee development and succession plan that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company
- Developed, implemented and evolved as needed comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective
- Highly knowledgeable around progressive employee practices and programs
- Initiated comprehensive strategic talent acquisition, management and retention plans to meet business goals
- Have functioned as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management across multiple functions
- Experience presenting to board of directors and other strategic advisors
- Ability to operate at the strategic level, coupled with the willingness to manage the day-to-day aspects of the People practice and function

We offer an excellent compensation package for all Center employees. This includes competitive salary, performance bonus, generous paid time off, comprehensive health benefits and 401(k) participation.
The VP of People pay transparency TTP range is $220k-$360k annually and the equity value of option grants is $40k-$200k.
