As a direct report of the Chief Talent Officer, the individual will be a member of the talent leadership team at RSM responsible for development and execution the talent experience strategic objectives focused on enabling the firm strategy through the strategic management and development of talent.

  • Serves as the lead talent architect, creating the strategy and vision for the talent lifecycle which supports and contributes to firm performance and culture.
  • Responsible for collaboration and consulting with firm leaders, talent organization and other stakeholders to align strategies and solutions with firm critical priorities for today and the future.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing innovative talent solutions from hire to retire.
  • Advances and iterates core talent solutions including partner and employee performance management, leadership development, talent assessments, coaching and mentoring, career development, employee retention, engagement, and succession with a keen focus on aligning efforts across the enterprise to deliver an integrated and inclusive talent experience.
  • Lead and manage a sophisticated team of talent professionals focused on developing enhanced consulting capabilities, positioning the talent organization as a strategic partner for business leaders
  • Evaluate and innovate the performance and talent assessment processes and tools to improve results, enhance experiences, further digital capabilities and aligning to diversity and inclusion priorities
  • Utilizes external market insights as well as internal qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and assess talent strategy effectiveness, ROI and continuous improvement
  • Turns information into actionable insights to strategically build and share compelling narrative that all parts of the firm can buy into.
  • Assess and manage risk. Actively ensure compliance with all RSM policies and procedures, federal state, and local laws related to our talent processes including appropriate global laws, and policies.


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree typically required in related field of study
  • Master's degree preferred in related field of study


Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in talent management/development with 8-10 years within an advanced HR/talent leadership role
  • Proven track record of implementing innovative talent solutions at an enterprise level
  • Experience in an organization of greater than 5B in revenue and employee headcount of 20,000
  • Experience developing talent strategies and leading through organizational transformation and change
  • Deep understanding of market trends and emerging market trends, ecosystems of our industry & general industry
  • Experience executing large scale programs with a focus on talent centric and digitally forward solutions
  • Demonstrated visionary leadership with the ability to lead through ambiguity, navigate and remove barriers, be agile, and engage in continuous learning to be aware of emerging trends and best practices
  • Expertise in interpreting and leveraging data analytics to drive strategy and decision making
  • Experience consulting with executive stakeholders, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build credibility across a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience and comfort in presenting to large audiences
  • Complex problem-solving capabilities, ability to inspire and influence others through innovative ideas and change leadership
