Role Summary
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist that will be responsible for engaging and identifying top talent into the organization to ensure the staffing needs for the organization are consistently and successfully met. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with the Director of Talent & Culture to drive successful recruiting strategies that will support the organization’s mission, values, and strategic goals.

 

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for sourcing and evaluating candidates to ensure that only highly qualified candidates that fit the identified hiring profiles are presented to hiring managers.
  • Create and maintain a personalized, transparent, and positive candidate experience by managing candidate expectations through consistent communication and process efficiency.
  • Partner and consult with hiring managers to determine hiring profiles, review the recruiting process, as well as utilize subject matter expertise to educate interviewers as needed.
  • Ensure recruiting methods are creative and resourceful by utilizing various channels, with an emphasis on passive candidate engagement to enhance candidate pool. Generate candidate interest through creative marketing and social media usage by clearly articulating the Hotchkiss value proposition.
  • Develop candidate pipelines for the organization’s ongoing, key roles.
  • Maintain a pro-active focus on professional development by staying up to date on industry trends, best practices, and educational opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to assist in the continuous improvement of the division.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience in the HR field
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and change at small to mid-size company
  • Strong research and candidate generation skills
  • Familiarity with current direct sourcing techniques; social media savvy
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up, and excellent organizational skills
  • Sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
  • Effective communication skills
  • Creative and independent thinking ability 
  • Natural relationship builder
