Job Description:

This Senior HR Manager is a member of the HR Business Partner team that are aligned with senior leaders in Enterprise Services & Devonshire. Our team is responsible for delivering the human resource strategies for the Enterprise Services and Devonshire Groups.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelors or equivalent with 5+ years of experience or master's with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience motivating change initiatives
  • Strong business insight
  • Strong relationship building and execution skills
  • Responsive execution orientated approach.
  • Comfortable with data and have an ability to use to use data to tell a story and provide consultative mentorship to leadership
  • Collaborate with VP, Talent & Learning and the learning, talent management and D&I leads to understand their strategic requirements and data needs and work within their architecture to develop solutions that provide 'intelligent workforce insights'
  • Ability to think strategically and pragmatically in order to execute and deliver
  • Good judgment and know how people and talent strategies can drive business results
  • Ability to connect and integrate HR priorities and services to ensure high quality service delivery
  • Collaborator who easily builds relationships with colleagues and business partners to deliver results
  • Proficient in change management and understand key points of engagement, communication, and influence
  • Demonstrable experience in challenging and influencing business leaders and managers on issues that could influence the operating environment
  • Demonstrated independence, autonomy and accountability when executing your work, even in the face of ambiguity or limited precedent.
  • Ability to master new concepts quickly and simplify sophisticated ideas into easily understood concepts
  • Strong project coordinator and have an ability to think end-to-end about the work to be implemented
  • Experience working in an agile organization and/or are familiar with agile principles

The Team

This role coordinates and manages initiatives in support of the Enterprise Services HR strategy with direction from the HR team, specifically Fidelity Charitable. The incumbent is involved in specific aspects of the human capital strategy including organizational design performance and organizational change; as well as staffing, compensation, engagement and development programs providing support, reporting on progress and surfacing issues to the HR team as appropriate.

The Value You Deliver

  • Develop, align and execute HR strategies including programs and initiatives in support of the business strategy. Programs range across business unit-specific, functional and/or enterprise in nature.
  • Work alongside with partners in Compensation to ensure execution and understanding of compensation philosophies and strategies
  • Drive the integration of performance and business management processes to ensure clarity of goals and expectations for business results, align performance with rewards, and drive a culture of accountability for results
  • Assess organizational efficiency from multiple views of impact and either develop or advise on the development of solutions to support business strategy
  • Use data, measures and people analytics to provide key insights and influence organizational and talent decisions
  • Identify organizational capabilities and associated talent needs to deliver business results; and build a plan to address using talent management tools and resources.
  • Manage and implement organizational change initiatives, and may be accountable for leading a work stream or portion of a larger change management strategy
  • Partner closely with talent management team to execute initiatives that identify, assess, develop, engage and reward associates
  • Help to coordinate staffing/sourcing strategies and selection process for key roles
  • May assist, as required, in inquiries regarding sophisticated ER issues, working with legal, risk, compliance, and security
