The Global Talent Acquisition function is going through a strategic recruitment transformation, deploying robotics & process automation tools and modernizing recruitment infrastructure to focus on business talent priorities and improve end-to-end process experience.

Global Talent Acquisition is looking for a Recruitment Sourcing Manager to join our team and support our Technology, Digital, Analytics , Risk and Corporate functions .

The Recruitment Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading a team of sourcers responsible for supporting the execution of end-to-end hiring at AXP, while ensuring outstanding candidate and Hiring Leader experience. You will identify the most effective recruitment processes, train, drive best practices, assess, and lead the overall recruitment process in order to acquire the best quality candidates with the greatest speed. You will be a talent champion who can stay connected to an active pipeline of candidates, maintain long-term Candidate/Hiring Leader relationships, create effective Employer Value Propositions (EVP's) per line of business, and energetically sell the role and the American Express brand. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and empower a team of offshore sourcers to generate results against functional goals and provide direction on sourcing strategies and methodologies
  • Optimize sourcing workflows to ensure positive candidate experience across the hiring process.
  • Balance sourcer capacity with hiring demands of the business and Global recruitment teams.
  • Act as the sourcing SME and participate in talent acquisition strategy discussions with business leaders and CSP's.
  • Leverage data analytics and reporting to inform functional/regional GTA strategy.
  • Liaise with talent leaders in the local market to ensure the offshore sourcing team is operating effectively, administrative support and team engagement.
  • Partner with Recruitment Marketing team for efficient use of talent brand tools, marketing resources, best practices and employer brand promotion opportunities
  • Attract, develop and retain sourcers of all experience levels and capabilities.
  • Ability to build and sustain trust while leveraging partnerships at all levels.
  • Analyze both recruitment and business trends to provide experienced solutions in finding top technical talent while being close to the marketplace through benchmarking and networking.
  • Provide recommendations on sourcing strategies, building talent pipelines and sourcing prospects that result in finding top talent.
  • Partner with the business to help ensure real-time communication on recruiting activity, as well as any challenges or issues needing attention.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen, understand, convey, and relate ideas, concepts and issues clearly and confidently through all channels while having an awareness of environmental cues.



Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of US-based corporate recruiting or related experience; preferably within a financial services or technology organization.
  • Experience leading a team of direct reports is extremely helpful.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms such as Taleo, Eightfold, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, HireVue and/or others preferred
  • Ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with hiring leaders, recruiters, and candidates in an engaging and persuasive manner.
  • Experience working in a compliance driven organization preferred.
