The Role

The Recruiting Operations Manager will help create consistencies in our processes and improve team efficiency at scale.  You will operate as both a recruiting systems and process manager responsible for delivering and expanding our talent acquisition processes, tools, systems, and data analytics that enable the recruiting team to scale the company.  You will lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, data-driven decision making, and guide change management across the organization.  You will bring a modern approach and thinking about how to recruit top talent to the company resulting in talent operations efficiencies.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the recruiting team by managing all operational aspects of recruiting and identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies and effectiveness 
  • Serve as the SME for all of our recruiting systems and tools (Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, etc.) and consistently assess whether we are fully optimizing each tool to meet our hiring goals
  • Cultivate close partnerships with the recruiting team and other cross-functional partners that enable the successful delivery of efficient and thoughtful programs, processes, and solutions
  • Drive adoption of systems, tools, and processes by delivering user-centric training, documentation, and support
  • Ensure enablement and new hire onboarding of hiring managers and recruiting team members run smoothy to be successful
  • Contribute to the development of recruiting dashboards and success metrics.  Develop weekly, quarterly, and annual reporting on our key performance metrics.
  • Develop recruiting insights to use data to build forward thinking analytics to inform strategic decision making; review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve recruiting productivity efforts
  • Identify ways to provide a best-in-class candidate experience and interview process across all points of the candidates lifecycle
  • Own other recruiting operations related projects such as systems integration, systems implementation, etc.
  • Assist with other recruiting projects such as employer branding, university recruiting, recruitment marketing, etc.  

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting or recruiting operations
  • Deep knowledge of recruiting processes, key metrics, and what levers will most dramatically improve the efficiency and effectiveness throughout various stages of scale
  • An understanding of the recruiting lifecycle and the needs of core users (candidates, recruiters, coordinators, hiring managers, interviewers)
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with recruiting and cross-functional stakeholders
  • An analytical mindset, structured thinker, and strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and scaling environment; startup experience and building processes and systems to scale
  • Led projects from start to finish, working through obstacles and gaining support from various stakeholders along the way; track record of driving improvements that have resulted in measurable business impact
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, data visualization, and presentation skills.
  • Expert Greenhouse administrator skills are required
  • Experience with recruiting systems and tool such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Glassdoor, Comparably, etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills and G Suite experience is desired
