Position Summary

The Leadership Development Specialist will develop and deliver strategic Leadership Development programs. This includes Leadership training and assessments in support of enterprise capabilities and culture, strategic deployment priorities, business segment and function, current and future leadership development needs with a focus on automation of the programs and a high quality end-user employee experience.

Work Location and Travel

  • Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.
  • No travel required.


Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

  • Work with Organization Development Managers to deliver content and communications in support of Leadership Development Training deliverables defined in the Leadership Development Program including but not limited to: Leadership of the Future, Mid-Level Leader, and Diversity & Inclusion Programs. Key examples of work duties include:
    • Information and engagement materials to support leaders responsible for coaching and supporting participants in the Leadership Development Training programs.
    • Executive briefing materials to support senior leader engagement sessions with participants in post training engagement sessions.
    • Working with training participants and OD team to ensure timely scheduling, pre-work, logistical details for preparing, delivering and feedback of participants to ensure appropriate and timely sharing of information and resources for participants before, during, and after training.
    • Marketing materials for SharePoint site to inform employees and leaders on programs, process, and schedule for Leadership Development Training.
    • Surveys or other assessment tools to evaluate value of the Leadership Development Training Programs and provide feedback regarding improvement suggestions.
  • Work with Training Managers, HR Business Partners, and Learning Management System (LMS) team to develop and execute processes to support delivery of Leadership Development Training Programs including:
    • Identifying facilitators and confirming schedules for virtual face to face training sessions for Leadership Development programs globally.
    • Coordinating nomination and selection of participants for leadership training programs globally.
    • Facilitate in-house leadership development training (dependent upon experience).
    • Coordinating with external vendors and internal stakeholders to manage logistics, registration, scheduling, communications, and follow-up for Leadership Development Programs (i.e., class attendance, no-go decisions, rescheduling and obtaining and distributing materials, etc.).
    • Maintaining Leadership Development Training Program master schedule and instructor list for internally facilitated programs.
    • Gathering participant and facilitator feedback to provide course owners data for continuous improvement.
    • Manage training records in the Learning Management System (LMS) including course creation and logging participants.
    • Compiling training metrics for regular reporting against training targets to improve.
    • Monitoring budgets and tracking expenses for Leadership Development Programs.
  • Work with LMS team to leverage the SumTotal learning in support of self-service automated systems for leadership training programs.
    • Collecting, organizing and managing leadership training participant data from nomination to completion.
    • Logistics and monitoring of leadership development assessments (360 surveys, etc.).
    • Support for implementation of new talent management system (including support for testing, training, and rollout).
  • Analyze & act upon feedback from data analysis pertaining to class content, effectiveness, value etc.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has NO supervisory responsibilities.


Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in training or management field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum (3) three years' of experience developing and delivering strategic Leadership Development programs.
  • Complete knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
