The Staff Systems Engineer develops and manages system requirements, architectures, interface control documents, hazard analyses, concepts of operations, and test plans. The role applies traditional and model-based systems engineering methods, including SysML and requirements traceability, to guide system development and integration. Responsibilities include analyzing user needs, allocating requirements across system components, evaluating engineering work, preparing reports, presenting results, and collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams. Some travel may be required.

Leads Oceaneering’s Integrated Product Support organization across multiple programs and the full system lifecycle. Oversees logistics, sustainment, configuration and data management, technical publications, supply support, warehousing, material control, and government property management. Responsibilities include workforce planning, resource allocation, process governance, compliance, KPIs, ERP oversight, risk management, continuous improvement, customer engagement, proposal support, and employee development. Supervises IPS personnel and partners across engineering, program management, manufacturing, quality, contracts, finance, and supply chain.

Paid summer project management internship supporting engineering and project management teams. Interns work with mentors to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects and gain experience supporting equipment used in energy, aerospace, and chemical process industries.

Supports IT financial management through data entry, variance and trend analysis, project spending monitoring, purchase requisitions, procurement research, financial reporting, KPI dashboards, mobile device and carrier account management, and process improvement recommendations. Paid summer software engineering internship supporting underwater vehicle simulator development. Responsibilities include Unity and simulation development, 3D modeling, documentation, testing, requirements gathering, presentations, and collaboration with project teams and clients. Candidates will apply classroom knowledge while working with a mentor in a hybrid Austin-based environment.

Designs and validates electrical and electronic hardware for AGVs, ROVs, AMRs, and other robotic systems.
