About the Position

Qumulo is a fast growing, innovative company, with people-focused leaders and a robust internal recruiting team. As a recruiting lead, you will develop, drive, and execute on the staffing strategies that support Qumulo’s growth and scale. As a player/coach, you will mentor a team of Recruiters, a Sourcer, and a Recruiting Coordinator, as well as be the full cycle recruiter for a variety of searches. You will also collaborate with the other Recruiting and People teams to drive recruiting practices and strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead for team responsible for Engineering and Technical Product Management recruiting, including recruiting strategy, goals, performance management, day to day task management
• Identify trends and improve knowledge, data and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing strategies for the team
• Provide reporting to the leadership team regarding recruiting results and how the team is progressing on goals; Partner with business leaders across the company to set and drive hiring strategy, goals, and process.
• Provide a high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel; foster trust-based relationships with candidates, gaining a close understanding of their requirements and concerns
• Promote Qumulo’s employer brand
• Manage workflow and communication through applicant tracking system
• Develop innovative and creative ways to attract a compelling and diverse slate of candidates
• Advise hiring managers on hiring practices
• Work closely with People Team partners in support of the business
• Anticipate team needs and growth and hire, flex and stretch to meet changing business demand

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Recruiting experience
• 2+ years experience managing and/or mentoring and guiding technical recruiters and sourcers
• Demonstrable ability to collaborate with and influence business leaders
• Ability to create and execute passive sourcing strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
• Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
• Creative problem-solving, resourcefulness, detail-oriented, strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with HR databases, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
• Excellent communication skills
