About the job
The Red Hat North America (NA) People (HR) team is looking for an Associate Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our growing Global Field HR team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will actively support several functions within the NA Sales organizations. In alignment with the Red Hat People team's HR strategy and programs with business needs, you will have the opportunity to actively consult with leaders and associates with a focus on talent strategy, performance and development to align to business goals, succession and development planning, diversity and inclusion, change management and communication, total rewards and recognition, and employee relations. As an Associate HR Manager, you will work according to the priorities of the talent strategy set by your customer management teams and you'll collaborate with our global People team centers of excellence (CoEs) and Client Engagement team.
What you will do
- Build leadership capabilities by consulting with the business to deliver effective and impactful HR solutions
- Connect effective people team solutions to the key talent challenges the business is trying to solve
- Message the value and business impact of HR programs to leader and associate populations
- Consult and coach customers around our total rewards and talent management philosophies and their application to guide quality decisions
- Build collaborative relationships with CoE and Field Team partners to most effectively consult around implementing key programs within the business
- Use internal tools and other information sources to identify business trends and ensure that appropriate CoE solutions are in place to support
What you will bring
- 5+ years of previous experience as an HR generalist, HR consulting, or functional specialist
- Solid presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills including inspiring and coaching
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to inspire, either through storytelling or through data to motivate decision-making
- Team-first collaborative approach
- Ability to identify and prioritize the essential
- Comfortable in a trusted adviser role in a fully remote environment
- Familiarity with Workday
- Desire to impact and shape a future-focused key role as part of a dynamic team
- Prior experience supporting a Sales team is a plus
