HR PMO Manager
Job Description
The Manager, HR PMO will work across the HR delivery model and project manage various high priority initiatives as well as own the HR policy framework. The role will act as a HR liaison to various OGC resources for work related to employee relations, regulatory requirements and site crisis management. The role will lead various HR Project Managers dedicated to project managing and delivering on cross-hr goals as assigned. High judgement, ability to influence, program management and exceptional communication skills are essential to success in this role.
Project/Program Management
- Managing HR PMOs portfolio of projects to drive alignment across HR; manage the HR calendar to ensure it is updated and complete; develop standards and best practices to clarify project accountability across all stakeholders
- Escalate and report when a project is off track to Director, HR PMO
- Build and sustain effective stakeholder relationships at all levels, particularly with COE/HR Services Directors and Managers. Develop stakeholder strategies for the effective management across broad range of expectations and requirements.
- Project management delivery for cross-hr goals as assigned
HR Policy/Process
- HR policy framework ownership: support the development of HR policies and procedures; maintain current policies to ensure compliance; partner with appropriate areas of the HR delivery model to ensure policies are operationalized
- Facilitate Business Process Owners Council and HRG Network Forum to incorporate best practices from continuous improvement and project implementations into the way that we work
- Act as liaison to Ombuds for employee relations issues and referral/engagement to appropriate HR parties; own policy review should issues warrant it
- Act as liaison to labor legal counsel and own operationalizing new regulatory requirements as required
- Establish partnership with global security for site HR crisis management plans
- Content ownership for HR onboarding plan and materials
- People management - PM for HR Policy/Process
- Manage a team of PMs focused on project management annual programs and new programs/projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years management experience
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years' overall human resources experience or equivalent, including experience in program and project management
- Professional qualifications in HR Management or PMP, MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years' working with senior leaders at the vice president and above level is preferred.
- Strategic mindset, strong business acumen, executive presence, strong communications skills, and influencing capabilities.
