An Insider's view of Farmer's Business Network, Inc. (FBN)

What's something quirky about your company?

We are a close-knit team obsessed with getting stuff done. But we don't limit ourselves to Zoom calls and office walls. From building tractors in the office to farm visits and happy hours, there's always room for a good time.

Sowmya

Director, Product Management

What projects are you most excited about?

FBN is such a unique company because we're working on many projects that just haven't been done in the agricultural industry before - whether it's building a direct-to-farm e-commerce platform, or using satellite imagery to identify ways a farmer can lower the carbon intensity of their farm. We've only scratched the surface of what we can do.

Alex

Engineering Manager

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

It's been awesome having opportunities to work on such a variety of products and take on more ownership over the projects I am interested in.

Iris

Software Engineer

What is your vision for the company?

The mission of the FBN IT team is to power the productivity of our workforce, customers, and farmers. Our vision is to become a world class IT organization and enable the execution and realization of FBN's business strategy. If you're looking for an innovative and challenging environment where you feel empowered to make a difference, come join us.

Kumud

Chief Information Officer

How do your team's ideas influence the company's direction?

Our research identifies new experiences and features to solve farmers' most fundamental problems. These ideas form a roadmap that ultimately enables many facets of FBN's business strategy - how farmers find us, buy inputs, obtain loans, and sell their goods through our platform. Ideas are essentially the currency of our product organization.

Dave

Vice President, Product
