Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full lifecycle of HCM systems, including Workday HCM (preferred), with responsibility for system configuration, customization, and server deployments.
Lead HCM Administration, ensuring smooth operation, performance, and stability of the platform.
Lead Solutions Design, working closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and implement tailored solutions.
Manage system integrations with third-party applications and platforms, ensuring data flow is seamless and efficient.
Coordinate server deployments and related activities, ensuring that all deployments are executed on time, within scope, and with minimal disruptions.
Collaborate across various teams (HR, IT, Development, and business operations) to define technical requirements and scope for new system capabilities.
Lead project management activities in an agile delivery environment, ensuring clear communication, timely delivery, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Perform technical assessments of business requirements, identifying gaps, and developing solutions that meet both business needs and technical capabilities.
Manage issues resolution, troubleshooting technical problems, and ensuring that any user-facing issues are handled effectively.
Provide ongoing user support and training, helping to improve platform adoption and resolving user issues promptly.
Preferred Experience:
Strong expertise in Workday HCM or a similar HCM system and other HR-related platforms or systems
Demonstrated success in HCM Administration, configuration, customization, and system management.
Proven track record in solutions design, with a focus on creating scalable, efficient, and user-friendly configurations.
Experience with system integrations and deploying integrated solutions across platforms.
Expertise in server deployment and overall systems architecture, including managing upgrades and patches.
Familiarity with agile project management methodologies, with experience in leading cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment.
Experience managing and providing user support, troubleshooting system issues, and providing effective solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical teams to deliver projects and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in HCM, with 2+ years in a senior managerial or lead role, ideally with specific expertise in Workday HCM.
Proven track record in Solutions Design and complex Configuration.
Direct experience with Server Deployments and environment management.
Strong understanding of API-based integrations and middleware.
Proven experience in project management, deep familiarity with Agile delivery and formal Project Management frameworks with a focus on HCM platforms and other HR-related systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen ability to assess complex technical and business challenges. Ability to perform rigorous technical scoping and risk assessment for new feature requests.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization; Exceptional ability to "translate" technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
