About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and people-focused HR Specialist – Employee Relations & Engagement to help create an engaging, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
In this role, you will lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, internal communications, volunteer and community activities, and employee events that enhance the overall employee experience. You will partner closely with leaders, employees, and external stakeholders to drive programs that strengthen culture, belonging, and organizational pride.
ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Labor Compliance
- Manage employee disciplinary cases, workplace investigations, administrative hearings, and case documentation while ensuring due process and fairness.
- Draft and issue employment-related notices, including Notices to Explain (NTE), Notices of Decision (NOD), and other disciplinary correspondence.
- Conduct fact-finding activities and partner with leaders in resolving employee concerns and workplace issues.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding performance concerns, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and employee conduct.
- Facilitate employee counseling sessions and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify employee relations trends and recommend initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, company policies, and HR regulations.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute employee engagement, recognition, and appreciation programs.
- Organize employee events, celebrations, wellness activities, and culture-building initiatives.
- Support programs that promote inclusion, belonging, and employee well-being.
- Gather employee feedback and recommend actions to improve the employee experience.
Employee Communications
- Develop and deliver engaging employee communications across various internal channels.
- Create content for SharePoint site, digital signage, social collaboration platforms, and company announcements.
- Support communication campaigns that increase awareness and participation in company programs and initiatives.
Community & Volunteer Programs
- Coordinate employee volunteerism, community outreach, and corporate social responsibility activities.
- Partner with schools, non-profit organizations, and community groups to support employee involvement initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of programs related to education, community development, and employee giving.
Employee Events & Programs
- Manage the planning and execution of employee events, recognition programs, learning sessions, and site-wide activities.
- Coordinate event logistics, vendors, communications, and participant engagement.
- Measure program effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.
HR Operations & Administration
- Track engagement metrics, participation rates, and employee feedback.
- Prepare reports and presentations on engagement initiatives and program outcomes.
- Support onboarding and New Employee Orientation activities.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, with solid experience in Employee Relations & Engagement, HR Operations, or HR Generalist functions.
- Strong project management and event coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Experience in manufacturing, electronics, or semiconductor organizations is an advantage.
- Experience in employee engagement, employee communications, volunteerism, community outreach, wellness, or inclusion programs is highly preferred.
