Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between PBPs supporting functional leadership and employees at our RTP site, ensuring consistent two-way communication, alignment of programs to local needs, and effective execution.
- Partner with functional PBPs to localize training content, employee and leadership programs, and talent frameworks to meet the unique needs of RTP employees and managers.
- Provide proactive coaching and guidance to managers to strengthen leadership effectiveness and team performance.
- Partner with RTP site leadership, including the People Business Partner Director, to foster a positive, high-performing, and values-driven workplace culture.
- Drive execution of annual HR cycles, including talent reviews, compensation planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Guide leaders through employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation. Partner with functional PBPs to escalate complex cases and ensure alignment with company-wide practices and local compliance requirements.
- Partner with the Talent Management team to deliver employee and leadership development programs, ensuring content is relevant and tailored for RTP employees at all levels.
- Lead an engaging, values-aligned new hire onboarding program that fosters connection and belonging from day one.
- Serve as a culture ambassador for the RTP site, activating company values through in-person experiences, events, and communication moments.
- Partner with the Head of Culture, Community & Engagement to implement employee experience strategies, establish feedback loops, and drive progress on site-specific culture and engagement goals.
- Manage internal culture communications (digital signage, Slack, newsletters) to amplify key initiatives and stories that strengthen connection.
- Support action planning and implementation stemming from employee listening tools (e.g., Voice of GRAIL survey).

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field with 8 + years of relevant human resources experience; or a Master’s degree with 5 + years of relevant experience.
Proven experience implementing leadership development and employee engagement strategies.
Hands-on experience with WorkDay is highly preferred.
Strong consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
Experience in high-growth, fast-paced industries such as life sciences, technology, or healthcare.
Strong understanding of HR practices and employment law.
Excellent communication and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities with precision and professionalism.
High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a deep passion for culture-building and belonging.
An energetic presence and the ability to foster connection both in person and virtually.

GRAIL has a variety of work types depending on the roles. Some are onsite like a lab role, others are hybrid and still others are remote. Hybrid is typically Tuesday and Thursday but leaders may be flexible depending on the role.
