As a Human Resources Operations Specialist with Ryman Hospitality Properties (RHP), you'll maintain the integrity and functionality of HR technology platforms, ensuring accurate employee data management that supports HR operations and strategic decision-making. You'll ensure accuracy and integrity of organizational HR data, support strategic decision-making through data management and reporting, facilitate effective HR operations by maintaining systems and employee information, and provide technical and functional support for HR systems and related vendors. As the ideal candidate, you combine strong technical skills with HRIS platforms, attention to detail, and analytical abilities with courteous customer service and discretion in handling sensitive employee information. Reports to Director HR Operations.
- Manage internal and external data flows, system interfaces, and reporting to ensure accurate data for payroll, benefits, vendors, regulatory agencies, auditors, etc. Manage scheduling and distribution of required reports.
- Provide system administration across all HRIS platforms including table and data feed maintenance.
- Ensure data updates in employee master files successfully feed into integrated systems, such as recruiting, on-boarding, time and attendance, performance, compensation, learning, and point-of-sale.
- Maintain and organize HR data within the primary HRIS and its interfaces with various third-party systems in support of the Company's data management and reporting needs. Ensure accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HRIS.
- Manage employee files and required audit documentation designing and implementing effective systems for file organization, retrieval, and purge, guided by legal requirements and operational concerns auditing for required documentation.
- Update, validate, audit, and correct employee records (including hires, transfers, pay changes, status changes, performance ratings, terminations, etc.) in accordance with internal policy and legal requirements, ensuring proper audit documentation and approval workflows.
- Support various HR system projects as well as other third-party vendor relationships, support HR system including troubleshooting technical issues. Provide support for HRIS practitioners, including providing end-user training, documentation, and resources.
- Complete required compliance reporting including the filing of EEO-1 and provide data for additional reporting including 401(k) audit, Work Comp, OSHA, etc. Maintain working knowledge of I-9 documentation requirements; review incoming forms for compliance and conduct periodic audits.
- Generate and distribute routine reporting such as rosters, turnover, average hours auditing, and terminations. Develop and execute ad hoc HR reporting as needed. Provide data summaries or statistical analysis for use in strategic planning or decision-making.
- Respond to employees, audit, and government agency requests with prompt, courteous customer service and manage sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Degree in related field preferred
Experience
- 5+ years' HRIS administration or similar experience required
- HRIS maintenance and report writing experience
- Exposure and understanding of APIs, system integrations and file feeds
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with HR compliance requirements (labor laws, reporting requirements, tax withholding, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills required; MS Access database experience a plus
Physical Requirements
Speak and hear to communicate and use both near and far vision. Frequently sit with some walking and standing for office/property navigation. Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs. Continually use gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills for computer use.
Working Conditions
In-office position based in a corporate environment with individual workspaces and shared common areas which support focused work while encouraging regular interaction among colleagues. Moderate background noise typical of a collaborative office setting.
