About your team
The HR Business Partnering team works closely with leaders and managers at functional, regional and enterprise levels; partnering with key centres of HR expertise (for example: reward, talent acquisition, learning & development), to design and deliver people plans in support of business and organisational goals.
About your role
You will be the face of HR and Fidelity’s cultural ambassador. You will support and also front end across a range of HR Generalist activities and work closely with the managers and leaders across HR and business. Your key focus areas will be - Employee engagement, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Career development and Reward and Recognition programs amongst other generalist activities you will support.
In addition, the role includes working closely with other HR teams such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, HR Shared Services, HRIS, Talent Management etc as well as other HRBPs to ensure that the needs of the business get fed back into the overall HR planning and strategy. The individual in this role should have the ability to understand and manage change and provide guidance and support to business and translate business needs into actionable recommendations. You will also be expected to participate in global, regional or India-wide HR projects or initiatives as appropriate.
About you
Regional HR responsibilities -
• Collaborate with functions like Talent Acquisition, HRSS, Payroll, HRIS and L&D
• Communicate effectively HR imperatives to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Be an active listener to understand the needs of employees, managers & business leaders
• Recommend and support implementation of engagement strategies to provide smooth end-to-end employee experience for effective hiring and onboarding experience
• Assist in the delivery of employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives which run locally but represent the true culture of the organisation and are globally embedded
• Build and maintain relationships with local & global stakeholders, including employees, managers and executives
Strategic Consulting & Commercial Acumen-
• Contribute to the diagnosis and design of talent strategies through various tools such as focus group discussions & surveys
• Action and advocate People Risk, Impact & Advisory
• Have a solid understanding of HR policies, practices and regulations and use this to provide guidance and support to managers and employees on people-related matters
• Understand our financial processes and drive year-end reviews to ensure we stay competitive
• Develop business, industry and market understanding of the factors that will impact the business and the workforce
• Promote better usage of the HR Technology infrastructure (Support Hub, Cornerstone, Workday,Service Now, Engagement Survey tools etc.) by employees and managers
• Utilize data and people analytics to measure and support in influencing talent strategies and programs
HR Service Delivery -
• Work with the HR Shared Services and HRIS team towards the building of HR database and HR Reports
• Support business in the design and implementation of change management strategies
• Possess Core project management skills including planning, prioritizing, organization, risk management and stakeholder management
• Manage end-to-end employee exit process
• Work with the C&B and business teams on compensation benchmark and year-end compensation reviews

Workforce Planning & Talent Management -
• Have an in-depth understanding of the roles and skills within the client group, along with their career pathways to inform talent strategies and transformation programs
• Support talent reviews and succession planning
• Understand the strategic priorities in relation to future skills/capabilities and support the client groups towards building them
• Champion D&I agenda for the organisation and recommend initiatives to enhance inclusion and equity.
Experience and Qualifications Required
• Postgraduate with 8+ Years of work experience
• An individual with the highest level of personal authority and integrity
• Can demonstrate a flexibility of thinking, ability to analyse and distil complex information quickly
• Ability to influence, facilitate and foster meaningful conversation with senior leaders in organisation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong presence and the ability to adopt a commercially driven but versatile and culturally sensitive approach to enable them to impact across all levels and functional, national and cultural boundaries
• Equally comfortable dealing with long term strategic issues as with detailed, complex operational issues
• A natural self-starter with the appetite for the considerable workload, intensity and challenges presented by regional growth and the developing business
• A team player, who will be able to work within the overall culture and fit with its entrepreneurial but collaborative style.
