We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Strategic Business Partnering team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders to shape and deliver people strategies that support high performance, strong culture and great outcomes for our people and the Bank. You’ll bring a thoughtful, commercially aware approach to people matters, working across a broad range of strategic and complex issues.

As an HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver people strategies aligned to business priorities

  • Provide trusted, strategic advice on organisational design, workforce planning and capability uplift

  • Lead complex employee relations and case management matters with sound judgement and care

  • Support and coach People Leaders to build high-performing, inclusive teams

  • Guide leaders through change, ensuring a considered and well-managed employee experience

  • Contribute to enterprise-wide HR initiatives and bring insight from the business to shape our approach

  • Ensure alignment with governance, policy and regulatory requirements

About you

You are a credible and experienced HR professional who is confident operating in a complex environment. You build strong relationships, bring balanced judgement, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in an HR Business Partner or senior generalist role

  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders

  • Deep experience managing complex employee relations matters

  • Strong understanding of organisational design, workforce planning and change

  • A practical, solutions-focused approach grounded in sound judgement

  • Clear, confident communication and the ability to navigate sensitive issues with care

  • Experience within complex or regulated environment (highly regarded)
