YOUR ROLE

As an HR Associate, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees within a highly regulated, security-sensitive environment. This role combines strategic HR partnership, analytical responsibilities, and operational execution. You will:

  • Act as a liaison between leadership and employees, ensuring alignment of people strategies with organizational priorities.

  • Perform HR analyst duties, including data reporting, compliance tracking, and workforce analytics.

  • Support recruiting efforts for cleared positions and meeting federal proxy requirements.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in compliance with federal security standards.

  • Ensure adherence to NSA and federal guidelines for hiring, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic & Operational HR Partnership

    • Collaborate closely with the parent company’s HR team to ensure alignment on policies, compliance standards, and strategic initiatives while adhering to federal proxy and security requirements.

    • Partner with senior leaders to design and implement people strategies aligned with federal proxy requirements.

    • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies for classified programs.

    • Use HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and ensure compliance with government regulations.

  • HR Analyst Functions

    • Prepare and analyze HR reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation.

    • Monitor workforce trends, attrition, and headcount planning for cleared roles.

    • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and audit readiness for federal compliance.

  • Recruiting & Talent Support

    • Support the organization via sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates requiring security clearance.

    • Manage clearance documentation and liaise with security teams throughout the hiring process.

    • Support succession planning and career development initiatives for critical roles.

  • Employee Relations & Engagement

    • Act as a trusted partner to the legal team for employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.

    • Drive engagement initiatives that foster a secure, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Highly detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and time management

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources or People Teams partnering with leaders of their respective client groups and a career journey showing an increase in responsibilities.

  • Prior experience in defense, intelligence, or federal contracting environments strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated solid foundation of business fundamentals and metrics.

  • Excellent organizational, planning and presentation skills.

  • Evidence of effective leadership and communication abilities.

  • Effective interpersonal relationship skills to navigate in a matrixed organization.

  • Able to influence various stakeholders.

  • Able to think strategically and translate into practical operational plans to make things happen.

  • Results driven and able to deliver outcomes in a timely manner.

  • Ability to move through ambiguity, taking action in order to make progress and learn, and making improvements based on new information.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years related experience required. Training and/or Organizational development experience required.

  • Passion for adult learning and development

  • Highly detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and time management

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS   

Successful candidates must engage in a security clearance process in regard to their citizenship in order to perform fundamental job duties, as per applicable law.
