Pay, Schedule, & Benefits:
- The anticipated pay range is $22.00 - $24.00 hourly. This compensation range considers a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences, as well as internal equity.
- This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Typical work schedule is 20-29 hours per week, Monday-Friday during daytime business hours.

What You’ll Do:
- Administer new hire, rehire, internal job change, and termination processes, as well as other employee information changes, e.g. address changes, tax withholding changes, etc. Follow checklists and procedures. Maintain accurate records in the HCM system, personnel files, payroll documentation, etc. Consistently evaluate incoming workload, prioritize tasks, and allocate work time to ensure deadlines are met. Back up HR Operations Specialist on assigned processes.
- Monitor and manage HR email inbox and serve as the first point of contact for calls to HR. Provide timely, clear, service-focused responses to internal and external inquiries, and/or accurately route to other team members. Safeguard confidentiality.
- Promptly handle incoming HR mail, processing in a timely manner or accurately routing to other team members.
- Track inquiries (email, calls, and mail) to bring to HR Operations team for process improvement purposes, and maintain internal tools to assist with accurate routing.
- Manage document destruction in accordance with record retention policies.
- Complete audits of HCM data, I-9’s, personnel folders, etc.
- Assist with HR projects as assigned, and provide other general administrative and clerical support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
- Commitment to support and promote FMSC’s Christian mission and goals.
- Minimum of an associate’s degree and 1 year of experience in administrative support required; human resources experience preferred. In lieu of degree, equivalent work experience considered.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and database systems. HCM system experience preferred. Able to easily learn new technology.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of detail, accuracy, and follow-up.
- Able to prioritize, be organized, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to use discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and independence.
Your Team:
- Work location is Coon Rapids, MN. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement that allows for a blend of on-site and remote work. Must be available to be on-site on Wednesdays (the designated day the HR team is on-site) and at least two other days per week (to handle HR mail).
- Reports to HR Operations Supervisor.
