The candidate for this role will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's human resources and administration functions by driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR operations, and people development while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and supporting business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee development, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, source qualified candidates, conduct interviews, and provide hiring recommendations.
Design and implement HR initiatives covering employee engagement, talent management, training and development, succession planning, change management, team building, and employee experience.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR policies, and organizational procedures while providing guidance on disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee relations issues.
Manage HR systems, employee records, headcount reporting, workforce analytics, compensation and benefits administration, and HR process improvements.
Supervise, mentor, and develop the HR team while collaborating with management to align HR strategies with organizational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial HR role, preferably within the microfinance or financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws, HR best practices, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, and compensation and benefits.
Experience managing HR systems, workforce planning, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational development programs.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
