Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Housekeeping Turndown Attendant to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

ResponsibilitiesHere's what you'll do during a typical day
As a Turn Down Attendant, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional evening experience for our guests by ensuring that rooms and suites are thoughtfully prepared for the night. With meticulous attention to detail and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality, you will help create a sense of comfort, elegance and anticipation that reflects the renowned standards of Waldorf Astoria.
You will perform the following responsibilities to the highest luxury standards:
Carry out turn down service in guest rooms, suites and residences in accordance with Waldorf Astoria and Forbes Travel Guide standards
Prepare guest rooms for the evening by refreshing the room presentation and creating a welcoming nighttime environment
Turn down beds to exact luxury standards, ensuring impeccable presentation and comfort
Refresh guest amenities, towels, water, glassware and in-room supplies as required
Close curtains, adjust lighting and room settings to create an inviting evening ambience
Deliver personalised amenities and special occasion arrangements in accordance with guest preferences and requests
Review and action guest preferences, VIP requirements and special instructions accurately and discreetly
Ensure all guest belongings are handled with the utmost care, respect and confidentiality
Report maintenance concerns, damage or safety issues promptly to the appropriate department
Respond professionally and efficiently to guest requests and enquiries
Maintain assigned service areas, pantries and equipment in a clean and organised condition
Support Housekeeping Supervisors in delivering exceptional presentation standards throughout the hotel
Work collaboratively with colleagues across Housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Adhere to all health, safety, security and brand standards at all times
What are we looking for?
A Turn Down Attendant serving Hilton's luxury brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and with Team Members from other departments. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following qualities and capabilities:
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional luxury guest experiences
Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining immaculate standards
Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, discreet and service-oriented approach
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
High standards of personal presentation and professionalism
Flexibility to work evening, weekend and public holiday shifts
Commitment to maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality
It would be advantageous in this position if you demonstrate:
Previous experience in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel environment
Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide service standards
Experience delivering turndown service within luxury guestrooms, suites or private residences
An understanding of personalised luxury service and anticipatory guest care
Knowledge of VIP guest preferences and bespoke room preparations
