C.H. Robinson is seeking a Horizontal Business Development Representative to support our Committed Asset Team. In this role you will play a critical role in accelerating revenue growth across core truckload products by maintaining a clean and actionable pipeline, driving lead-generation efforts, and managing pre- and post-bid processes. You will partner closely with truckload product leaders, business development managers, and horizontal teams to surface insights, mobilize action, and advance high-impact opportunities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Strategy & Growth:
- Maintain clean pipeline data across core truckload products within CRM and divisional reporting.
- Share pipeline insights and opportunity signals with truckload product teams.
- Collaborate with horizontal leaders to drive action on new opportunities identified during pipeline WBRs.
- Manage and execute the pre-bid and post-bid process to improve consistency and outcomes.
- Launch lead campaigns tied to target account lists.
- Support business development managers in selling truckload capabilities.
Execution leading to Quality:
- Ensure pipeline accuracy and timely updates.
- Coordinate pre-bid and post-bid workflows to reduce friction and improve win rates.
Process Efficiency:
- Support standardization of opportunity management and operating rhythms.
- Use CRM and related sales tools to maintain organized outreach and accurate reporting.
- Continuous improvement and the development of SOPs to support scalable and repeatable processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or related field.
- Effective communication skills.
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach.
- Highly organized and meticulous.
- Initiative-taking and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
Preferred:
- Experience in SaaS, technology, or B2B environments.
- Success meeting or exceeding lead-generation targets.

Compensation Range
$30.69 - $48.53The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
