You will assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs. As a Pastry Commis, you’re not just preparing great tasting food items – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Prepare high-quality dishes:  Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Delight our guests:  Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
• Execute complex recipes:  Maintain a strong knowledge of menu offerings, handle complex recipes, and oversee stations, execution, quality control, and inventory checks
• Inspect and finalize plates:  Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace:  Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
• Manage inventory needs:  Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed
• Comply with regulatory standards:  Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being

• 高度な調理の遂行:メニューに関する深い知識を持ち、難易度の高いレシピの調理を担当します。また、各ステーションの調理、品質管理、および在庫確認を監督します。
• 料理提供前の最終点検:すべての料理を提供前に点検し、品質と盛りつけが基準を満たしていることを確認します。
• 清潔で整理された作業環境の維持:調理ステーションの食材を補充し、衛生的に保ちます。また、食材の適切な取り扱い、保管、安全管理手順を遵守します。
• 在庫管理:必要に応じて、食材や備品の出庫依頼書を作成し、欠品のないよう管理します。
• 各種規制・基準の遵守:健康、安全、衛生、およびアルコール提供に関する規制を遵守し、お客様とチームメンバーの安全を守ります。

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook or Trainee in a 5-star hotel or high-standard restaurant.
• Basic knowledge of Western or Chinese cuisine.
• Ability to remain calm and problem-solve under pressure.
• Comfortable working in hot, humid, and noisy kitchen environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen procedures and hygiene standards.

• 5つ星ホテルまたは高級レストランでのクックまたはトレーニーとして1年以上の経験
• 西洋料理または中華料理の基本的な知識
• プレッシャーのかかる状況でも落ち着いて、問題を解決できる能力
• 高温多湿で騒がしいキッチン環境で仕事ができること
• 優れたチームワークとコミュニケーションスキル
• キッチンの手順や衛生基準を学び、従おうとする意欲
