  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues identified during HIL/SIL testing, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Analyze data sets and correlate with test and flight data.
  • Meet with stakeholders to gather design objectives and requirements.
  • Configuration management of the hardware and software configurations of the HIL/SIL.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in software, electrical, aerospace, or controls engineering.
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop and Component Testing.
  • Work in a collaborative manner with other engineering disciplines such as GNC, Propulsions, Mechanical, Thermal, Test, Flight Software and lines of business as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with little input on requirements or management oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Release EGSE Drawings for test articles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with spacecraft-specific HIL/SIL challenges, such as GNC system validation, fault-tolerant design testing, and closed-loop control verification.
  • Proven track record of innovation in test automation, simulation fidelity, or integration efficiency.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment or a similarly dynamic setting.

COMPENSATION

  • California Base Salary: $105,000-$140,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job related knowledge and skills, education, location and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location: LB or Centennial, ability to travel 10-25% of the time
  • Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.
  • Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs.
