About Wolt

At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.

At Wolt, you'll have the opportunity to help build one of our newest business areas within a fun and fast-scaling global company. Part of the DoorDash team, we're building a global logistics platform that can deliver almost anything in your city in minutes. Today, our products are used by 55+ million registered users who order from 200,000+ restaurants and retail stores across 30+ countries.

Role Background

As our B2B business continues to expand, we're looking for a Head of Wolt for Work to launch and grow one of our newest B2B business lines in Greece.

This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a new business line from the ground up. You'll combine commercial leadership with hands-on execution - shaping the local strategy, winning strategic partners, building the operating model, and ultimately hiring and leading the team that will scale the business.

This is not a role where you'll build a strategy and hand it over - you'll be deeply involved in execution, working directly with partners, internal teams, and future team members to make things happen.

As the business scales, you'll be responsible for hiring, building, and leading your own team. Until then, you'll lead from the front - negotiating partnerships, solving problems, and building the foundations for long-term success.

What you’ll be doing

Day-to-day in this role you'll:

  • Lead the local growth of one of Wolt's B2B business lines, setting priorities and making commercial decisions that shape its success.
  • Define and execute the local commercial strategy while identifying new opportunities to grow the business.
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle - from identifying opportunities and leading commercial negotiations to supporting long-term partner success.
  • Build relationships with strategic partners, leading complex commercial negotiations from first conversation through launch.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Support, Legal, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to tailor solutions to partner needs and ensure successful delivery.
  • Represent Wolt at industry events and partner meetings, strengthening our presence and positioning Wolt as a trusted B2B partner.
  • Build, hire, and lead your team as the business grows, playing an active role in hiring, coaching, and team development.
  • Use data, market insights, and commercial performance to make informed decisions and continuously improve the business.
Our humble expectations

You'll succeed in this role if you:

  • Have significant experience in B2B sales, business development, partnerships, or another commercial leadership role.
  • Bring significant experience from a relevant industry, with a strong understanding of the B2B landscape and customer needs.
  • Have previous experience leading and developing commercial teams.
  • Enjoy building new businesses, taking ownership, and working hands-on to solve challenges.
  • Enjoy solving ambiguous problems, making decisions, and building new ways of working from scratch.
  • Have extensive experience building relationships and negotiating with senior stakeholders.
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently work with data, build dashboards, and turn insights into commercial actions.
  • Are proactive, decisive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Are fluent in English and Greek.
