About the role

We are seeking a highly systematic Head of User Acquisition to build and lead a centralized User Acquisition department at Ruby Labs, delivering UA-as-a-Service across our portfolio of subscription products. Reporting directly to our Chief Marketing Officer, you will centralize operations, own a unified strategy across all paid traffic channels. You will manage and mentor a distributed team of UA Managers across the portfolio, driving efficiency, consistency, and a data-driven approach to scaling paid acquisition. This is a high-impact leadership role suited for someone who thrives on scale, complexity, and rigorous execution. Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Ownership & Department Building:

    • Define and own the UA strategy across all platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat, Pinterest, and others).

    • Develop scalable processes, SOPs, testing frameworks, and reporting systems.

  • Team Leadership & Management:

    • Manage and mentor a team of cross-platform UA Managers embedded across product teams.

    • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management across the UA function.

    • Build a high-talent-density culture that rewards performance, collaboration, and growth.

    • Drive knowledge sharing across teams so best practices become standard practice.

  • Performance Marketing Execution:

    • Oversee large-scale budget management across all platforms and products, ensuring efficient CAC and positive ROAS

    • Develop and implement strategic growth plans based on LTV: CAC ratios, retention, onboarding conversion, and ARPU

    • Partner with data science to create and refine advanced analytics and attribution models

    • Own the testing roadmap: A/B tests, geo-expansion, channel scaling, testing of new channels, and creative iteration.

Qualifications
  • Experience:

    • 7+ years in performance marketing, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing UA at scale.

    • Proven background in subscription-based D2C products across multiple verticals.

    • Proven track record managing multi-million dollar monthly paid budgets.

    • Experience directly managing and developing a team of 5+ UA professionals.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Deep platform knowledge across Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest, Snapchat, and other paid social/search/display channels.

    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with fluency in Omni Analytics, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and Excel/SQL.

    • Experience building and scaling teams, setting KPIs, and operating under a centralized structure.

  • Personal Qualities:

    • Builds structure and repeatable systems rather than relying on personal effort or one-off fixes.

    • Deeply hands-on and fully accountable. Engaged in the details, not just oversight.

    • Holds the team to an exacting standard for execution quality and results.

  • Adaptability:

    • Consistently pushes for better, faster, more efficient performance, and iterates quickly when something isn't working.

    • Strong management instincts. Hires, coaches, and develops A-players while holding the team accountable.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
